The Xperia XV premium is the world’s first smartphone developed by Sony which includes an ultra-high definition download to watch films and TV in 4K on the phone screen which is 5.5 inches. The phone is waterproof and suitable for any environment urban or rural with an improved 19-megapixel rear “motion eye” camera with slow motion capability, videos taken can be shot in 960 frames per second of filming.
According to Sony this phone can record and play films over four times slower than any other current smartphone or android.
The phone is scheduled to launch into the consumer market during early spring 2017 after its announcement at MWC (Mobile World Congress) Barcelona. Critics have concluded that official reviews over the phone’s function will be postponed until official sales have been made.

There are a few significant differences between the new Xperias, the XZ Premium will use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC, the first to use semi-custom ARM CPU cores and the first SoC available on Samsung’s new 10nm process. The XZs will use the previous generation Snapdragon 820, which uses four fully-custom Kryo CPU cores.
